Early Years Foundation Stage
Our Early years is a vibrant, exciting place to learn. We have an extensive area to use and explore. Our dedicated and passionate professionals help children develop all the skills and knowledge to become confident communicators.
We truly value well-being and ensure that social and emotional development is our first priority. Settling children in to the learning environment, whilst getting to know each other is where we always start.
We enable children to work towards the government’s ‘Good Level of Development’ (GLD) by giving them lots of different experiences during their time with us.
We explore our indoor and outdoor area and develop skills in all the 7 areas of learning – Communication and Language, Personal, Social and Emotional, Physical Development, Literacy, Maths, Understanding the World and Expressive Arts and Design. Children access all our provision to develop their own learning journey through the early years foundation stage.
We believe strongly in ‘stage not age’ development and ensure children get challenge and support depending on their own needs and skills. Our nursery and reception children work together alongside our experienced early years professionals to enable children to develop and thrive.
Our wonderful team of early years experts are very much looking forward to supporting you and your child with their next steps in our early years unit.
